For its South China operations, our client is interested in recruiting a senior professional from the electronics manufacturing industry as : Manager – EHS & CSR Location : South China Responsibilities:

· Establish and implement EHS Management systems, programs and procedures

· Identify and evaluate all existing and potential threats to the Company’s business arising from environmental impacts.

· Motivate and guide line management in the implementation of procedures and solutions to reduce the EHS impact.

· Advise and provide consultant to management on all issues related to environment, industrial safety etc

· Co-ordinate all EHS activities of the Company

· Ensure all records (licences, permit, inventories) are kept and maintained

· Participate in the EHS Committee as a key member

· Formulate and drive the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to meet various customers’ needs.

Requirement:

· Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Environment or Safety Engineering or at least a degree in other disciples

· At least five years of relevant work experience and at least two years in a managerial role

· Knowledge and skills in EHS Management, local EHS laws and regulations

· Strong understanding of WEEE, RoHS and Lead-free subjects

· Conversant in MS Office applications both in English and Chinese versions

· Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is essential

· Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and persuasion skills

· Exposure to large scale manufacturing environment with high EHS risks will be an added advantage
