of the latest business buzzwords, often more a diffuse synonym for ‘complicated’.
On a heuristic level, parallels can be drawn with system or even chaos theories.
However, the stories do not extend very far, because in social organizations where
there are no natural/scientific/mathematical laws at play, it is all about human
