1, Engineering Manager

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to provide all needed manufacturing engineering resources required to meet company objectives. Responsible for engineering staffing processes – resource allocation and new hiring.

• Establish and implement current and long range engineering objectives, plans, and policies.

• Responsible for all technical requirements of all different types of Machine presses ,  Vision system, Lokreel technical support , Tooling fabrication and qualification .

• Provide career development/mentoring for all direct reports.

• Responsible for all Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).

• Represent Advantek Manufacturing engineering to customers as required.
• Support Corporate Quality & Environmental Systems and on going initiatives that include LEAN Enterprise, ISO 9000,TS 16949 and ISO 14000.

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Five year Engineering degree. Mechanical preferred

• At least 8 years semiconductor or related industry experience.  Exposure in the supervision of technical personnel.

• Familiar with the different types of semiconductor packages and their mechanical specifications.

• Knowledge of tooling design/manufacture and thermoforming industry experience is an advantage. Exposure to high volume/high mix manufacturing experience is a strong plus.

• Working knowledge of LEAN concepts and tools desirable.

• Good English
