偶感觉你至少要自己先画出价值链图, you need to make a value stream map, then , based the conditions you can adopt, for example how many machine you can utilize, what's the layout should be, change the process to a improved one.....first of all, you should make sure what's the production system is: i.e. push system---make-to-stock/mastered by MRP2 or pull system---make-to-order with/(TPS)adopt ERP. then, possibly you can re-engineering your layout, (at this stage, you should make the current state value stream map of your manufacture, as well as future state value stream map beforehand) remember, if you want to introduce Kanban system into the production systems/or you have already adopt them, those non-value added actions(except those activities must be done to produce the product) should be moved from the production line . then change the process and train your employee for the third stage.
however , u need to be cautious and pay much attention to your value stream map, make an accurate timeline under the VSM, really mark those non-value added action(where you can improve your process after changing)
you should also be cautious about the costs that you need to investigate for those changings. unless you can make sure that the reduction of operation costs is much more than you invest, you should do it. otherwise, it is not quite good to your manufacture to re-engineering process.
those things belongs to Industry Engineering , the key action I think should be Value Stream map as well as cost analysis. sorry , coz these days I need to do my project, I get not much spare time for it, otherwise i might help you.
