Job Description 1. Position Details and Object Position Lean Six Sigma MBB Reporting To Global Quality Director Object 2. Roles and Responsibilities Area Duties Requirements: 1. Bachelor degree in statistics or engineering related background. 2. At least 5 years experience in quality field and 3 years experience in six sigma & lean function in multinational company, GE, Motorola, Honeywell, Delphi or other world class automotive company will be preferred 3. Strong class teaching experience for both in Chinese and English 4. Strong communication and presentation skill Responsibilities: 1. Establish advanced six sigma training plan for China manufacturing and global suppliers 2. Lead six sigma & lean manufacturing training for internal team and global suppliers 3. Lead six sigma activities in internal plant and global supplier through DMAIC and DFSS Methodology 4. Working with internal team to identify top quality issue in process and set up annual six sigma project and saving plan with our customer 5. Understand our customer expectation in diverse industry, doing gap analysis and set up solid training plan to meet this expectation 6. Support global quality leader to upgrade team competence for quality and other aspects 7. Lead Lean activities in internal plant 3. Position Requirements Item Requirements Education Working Shanghai Experience Skill Set Department Description MDB, Go-to-Market Digital Sigma, PRC E09-10 Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations - Highly visible, leadership position in the PRC GTM Organization. - Lead DMADDD and DMAIC project initiatives controlling key processes that influence customer satisfaction (Growth) and/or productivity (Simplification) - Identify significant improvement opportunities returning Gross Margin to the business in direct savings, incremental capacity or incremental revenue. - Stay in role for a minimum of 18 – 24 months. - Serves as a change agent, internal consultant, tool mentor, team leader on 1-2 projects at any one time and work closely with Finance and Other Regional SLT Members - Challenges conventional wisdom by demonstrating successful strategies in problem solving, serves as a third party within the region - Coaches Green Belts, regularly communicates project value and status to the rest of the organization. Assists in the identification and prioritization of improvement projects. Specific Knowledge/Skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Effective at managing multiple priorities, strong facilitation & change management skills.
