IT Position – Infrastructure Manager

Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to ensure the effective operation and ongoing enhancements to the CAA communications networks,both Wide Area(WAN)and Local Area(LAN).

This position will also identify,investigate and pilot new technologies,facilitating their implementation into CAA,as well as procide a second level technical support facility to other areas of Service Delivery.

Technical Competencies:

Detailed knowledge of internetworking technologies, products and their application for IT solutions.
Extensive knowledge of network communications and protocols, their application and troubleshooting.
Detailed knowledge of groupware and messaging architectures, such as Microsoft Exchange.
Expert knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting.
Skilled in Technical Competencies:

Experience Required:

At least 5 years network administrator experience in a medium to large sized company.

Education Level Preferred:

Bachelor level education required, prefer one of the following disciplines:Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

Certifications/Accreditations Preferred:

One of the following accreditations would be preferred:CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP
