《个人电脑》杂志（2007年5月）用一个整版版面以“新品初评”的方式介绍了XMIND 2007，标题为《思维的延伸》。本文的编辑下载并试用了XMIND 2007，不久便在工作和生活中离之不得，并在编辑部内广泛推广，他在本文中给出的评价是：“与国外的同类软件相比，XMIND2007更加符合我们的思 维习惯。”

XMIND is an Eclipse RCP based visual thinking/mind mapping software. It helps people catch their creative thoughts flashing through their mind and turn them into guide lines of their activities. It's engaged in becoming the best assistant for planners and managers! All your plans, notes, meetings, speeches, even brainstorming and writing outlines can be perfectly expressed by simply drawing them down in a map with XMIND. You can also export them to Word/Powerpoint/PDF if you want to share your thoughts freely. XMIND uses Draw2D and Draw2D's extension in GMF to draw mind maps and export them to image files.
