Electrical / Mechanical R&D Engineers wanted
Hi, This is Vivien from Growhr.
We are now looking for available R&D Engineering talents who will be interested in being a R&D Engineers in Shanghai. Our client is a big swedish Company with high reputation within manufacturing industry abroad and now they began to expand their business here in Mainland China.
The company is the world’s largest producer of chainsaws, lawn mowers and other petrol-powered garden equipment such as trimmers and leaf blowers, as well as one of the world’s largest producers of garden tractors. It is also one of the world’s largest producers of cutting equipment for the construction and stone industries. The product offering comprises equipment for both consumers and professional users. Yearly net sales is USD 4,1 billion and the average number of employees is 15,500. The company’s shares are quoted on Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In 2008, the company acquired a local Outdoor Products operations and established its Machinery Manufacturing Co. Ltd China. This business accounts for approximately 100M USD and 1000 employees. The primary role of this company is to provide the group with a low cost production basis for opening price points finished products targeted to the consumer segment. Also, the factory has developed a direct business-to-business relationship with OEM customers located primarily in USA and Europe.
The requirements and job summary are as follows
About the job:
Work as an electrical design or mechanical design/test/trouble-shoot/engineer with the company’s engineering team. You will work as a part of a cross functional team in developing electrical products: troubleshooting, optimize products, design and layout, design documentation as be involved in testing.
You must have the flexibility to meet with the challenges you will be given and have the creativity to solve new or existing product issues.
You will work in an R/D department which has a lot of co-operations with other teams in Sweden, US, Germany and Japan.
Most of the products are hand-held which means optimization of weight, vibration, and performance.
We have started using CATIA as design tool.
Be assisting in new product development, product concept, circuit analysis and simulation, design documentation, as well as testing and characterization of the design in the lab.
Qualifications:
BS or Master in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Familiarity with electrical products
The experience with Ac or Dc motor experience will be preferable.
Engineering analytical skills
Familiarity in one or more CAD programs
Good verbal and written communication skills
English read, write, speak is a plus
at least 2 years work experience
