Based in Shanghai the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for Aerospace Wheel & Brakers R&O Site in both China and Philippines. The HRM is accountable for implementing HR strategy & partnering with Site Leader to achieve both China HR objectives and Site Business goals.
Primary Responsibilities of Position:
Key areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• HR Business Partnership with Site Leader.
• Take initiative on site Change Management.
• Work with ISC China HR Leader to enhance site leadership bench.
• Work with Site & ISC China HR Leader for people skill-set training and development plan.
• Work with ISC China HR Leader and Comp-ben CoE for site retention plan.
• Work with staffing CoE build site talent pipeline through creating multiple recruitment channel and talent acquisition.
• Implement of Global and Regional HR initiatives, processes, programs, systems (eg. Learning programs, Staffing/UR initiatives, eTalent, MRR, HPD, GCP, Payroll Centralization, Benefits Adminstration, etc)
• Help ISC China HR Leader implement standardized China HR policies and practices.
• Enhance site Employee Engagement (communications, employee relations, rewards & recognition, employee involvement)
• Support site business Growth through talent management, helping to drive site performance culture and values.
Attributes/Skills Required:
• Solid HR generalist experience
• Good interpersonal and influencing skills and confident in delivery
• Demonstrate ability to communicate and build relationships with employees at all levels (including HR teams)
• Strong ability to read, write, think and verbalize in English (bilingual in English/Chinese is a must)
• Good understanding of country employment laws and regulations
• Take initiative, be a fast learner and high sense of responsibility and responsiveness
• Time management and Project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Experienced/Education Required:
• Bachelor degree or a relevant discipline
• MBA or Master degree in relevant HR area preferred.
• Overall 5 years plus of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years’ solid experience in a managerial capacity in a multinational corporation
