1, Engineering Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible to provide all needed manufacturing engineering resources required to meet company objectives. Responsible for engineering staffing processes – resource allocation and new hiring.
- Establish and implement current and long range engineering objectives, plans, and policies.
- Responsible for all technical requirements of all different types of Machine presses , Vision system, Lokreel technical support , Tooling fabrication and qualification .
- Provide career development/mentoring for all direct reports.
- Responsible for all Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
- Represent Advantek Manufacturing engineering to customers as required.
- Support Corporate Quality & Environmental Systems and on going initiatives that include LEAN Enterprise, ISO 9000,TS 16949 and ISO 14000.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Five year Engineering degree. Mechanical preferred
- At least 8 years semiconductor or related industry experience. Exposure in the supervision of technical personnel.
- Familiar with the different types of semiconductor packages and their mechanical specifications.
- Knowledge of tooling design/manufacture and thermoforming industry experience is an advantage. Exposure to high volume/high mix manufacturing experience is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of LEAN concepts and tools desirable.
- Good English
