Position: Multimedia Compression Engineers: Rate Control Algorithms
Duration: Full Time
Location: Beijing, China
Job Description Responsible for research and development in the rate control algorithms for video compression.
1. Qualification Successful candidates must have an MS degree, Ph.D. is preferred, in electrical engineering/computer science.
2. Must have conducted research and development of the rate control algorithms, such as TM5, VM5, TMN8, AVC RC, VBV or HRD models, for MPEG2/ MPEG4/H.264 and other standard-based video compression standards.
3. The qualified candidates must understand the overall video compression theory and be familiar with the video compression standards.
4. Standardization process experience in new video compression formats including MPEG4 or H.264, etc. is a plus.
5. The position requires the individual to conduct independent research and development in the new R&D center.
6. Good communication skill in English is a must. |
