From my point of view, Mr. Qu, maybe a good consultant, to be frankly, he is hard to be a marketer (or marketing manager). The reason behind is he has no ability to balance science and art. As a consultant, over 80% is scientific job, he or she should base on facts, and numbers to design the strategy, but as a marketer (marketing director, etc.), it is mostly an art. He or she based on fact from consultant, and his experience and gut feeling to design and execute the strategy. |
