<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 125%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%; font-family: 宋体;">打小记事起，自己好像就不怎么读书，但正式开始不读书估计还得从初中开始，可能正是由于这种不读书的感觉，让自己有了一种对自己感知的认知，考试本来就是应该考不好的。怀着对自己的这种自信，从初中到高中，一路抄过来。基本上没什么科目是可以及格的，对自己的成绩倒数有了绝对的自信。</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%;" lang="EN-US"></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 125%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%; font-family: 宋体;">那时的我根本对于考试考不好这种事情的认识，绝对具有宽广的胸怀。考试嘛，不用紧张，根据历史经验，大部分都是选择题，老师为了轻松阅卷，大部分出的都是选择题。我很坦然，估计用正态分布图表达，最差都能在</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%;" lang="EN-US">30</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%; font-family: 宋体;">分左右。最好也不过及格而已，让我对学习有了绝对的自信，反正不求有功，但求无过。那时候我们读书的时候常常给自己标榜是旅游来的，不是读书。轻松心态可见一般。</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%;" lang="EN-US"></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 125%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%; font-family: 宋体;">正是因为对自己成绩不好的过度自信，高三的某天，历史课模拟高考的分数竟然考到了</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%;" lang="EN-US">80</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%; font-family: 宋体;">多分，</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%;" lang="EN-US">100</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%; font-family: 宋体;">分满分。让我自己忽然有了一丝得意，后来仔细想来，历史课好像我也没怎么听课，怎么成绩忽然就好了起来呢。我想得益于那时热衷于多款历史题材的游戏。从那时开始，本来对历史就有兴趣的我便加深了多一份的爱好进入。今日想起，过去的点滴放在今日不过是一点有趣的回忆，无论功过，都让人有种咖啡味。</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%;" lang="EN-US"></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;" align="left"><b style=""><span style="font-family: 宋体; color: rgb(153, 153, 153);">黄仁宇</span></b><span style="font-family: 宋体; color: rgb(153, 153, 153);">，生于湖南长沙，<span lang="EN-US">1936</span>年入天津南开大学电机工程系就读。抗日战争爆发后，先在长沙《抗日战报》工作，后来进入国民党成都中央军校，<span lang="EN-US">1950</span>年退伍。其后赴美攻读历史，获学士、硕士、博士学位。曾任哥伦比亚大学访问副教授及哈佛大学东亚研究所研究员。参与《明代名人传》及《剑桥中国史》的集体研究工作。

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 125%;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%; font-family: 宋体;">这本书和其他历史书最大的不同，就是从大世界观的角度去看待中国的历史。从小学到初中我们学历史，就是从宋代到明代到清代，都是自己跟自己比，可是在同自己比的时候，我们应该用更大的眼界去看待世界当时是怎么样的。如果没有世界的心态，就会很容易再现当年清朝的种种的不平等。可是“大历史”三字绝非绝非仅仅是“大”，而是从世界这“大”角度去看待历史。</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 125%;" lang="EN-US"></span></p>
