泰国故都--大城（Ayuttaya）

大城（Ayuttaya）距曼谷76公里。大城在泰国的历史上是一个历史悠久的古老故都。1350年，泰国的素可泰时代衰落后，其当时的国王乌通王将都城迁至大城建立新度。自1350年至1767年，曾为泰国第二个首都，有四百多年的辉煌历史。佛教精髓在此达到颠峰，并深植于泰国文化建筑中。大城的寺庙、皇宫及佛像的雕刻，无不表现出庄严典雅的作品。当时的大城非常的繁荣，被当时许多文献记载喻为人间的天堂，大城是当时主要的贸易中心，也有许多国家的人来此定居，如今在大城散布的有葡萄牙村、荷兰村与日本村的遗址。1767年缅甸军队入侵泰国，将大城王朝灭亡。并把大城焚之一炬，昔日的繁华如今只剩下断壁残垣，供后人凭吊！

寺庙，宫殿是泰国最富含文化的建筑，当然还有他们的语言，在人民网也看过一些图片，同样是个古老的民族古老的国度，相当不错：）
