By Becky Manley
The Journal Gazette

Couture

Kerst

Davies
Shovel-wielding Kosciusko County police searched Friday afternoon for buried treasure, seeking high-dollar jewelry buried by burglars who may be responsible for a series of home break-ins.
To prevent would-be treasure hunters from scouring the county with metal detectors and shovels for the burglars’ booty, police released few details Friday about the case, which remains under investigation.
The three burglary suspects were picked up by police Thursday evening in a car reported as being taken without the owner’s permission, said Sgt. Chad Hill, Kosciusko public information officer.
After Warsaw police stopped the car, Christen E. Couture, 19, of Syracuse; Jennifer Lee Kerst, 27, of Pierceton; and Warren James Davies, 24, of Warsaw, were questioned at the sheriff’s department, Hill said. After the interview, police arrested and charged each with felony burglary.
Police believe Couture, Kerst and Davies may have burglarized multiple homes in the county, Hill said.
In addition to stealing small appliances, medications and cash, the burglars also took jewelry, he said. Police were told the jewelry was buried in two different locations in Kosciusko County.
On Friday, police had recovered half the buried jewelry and planned to dig up the remaining jewelry, which they were told was tucked in a blue duffel bag before it was buried, Hill said.
The bag was buried without an “X” or other conspicuous marker to aid in its location, and therefore, police were having a harder time finding it.
Initial efforts to locate the elusive blue duffel bag using only a description of its location were unsuccessful, Hill said, and police plan to enlist the aid of one of the suspects to locate the bag.
In addition to half the jewelry stash, police have recovered items taken during a burglary that occurred around March 30 at a home along County Road 900 North near Milford, Hill said. The burglars entered the house by prying open a side door to a garage.
The cash taken during the burglaries has been spent, Hill said.
Bail is set at $5,000 for Couture and Davies. Bail of $5,500 was set for Kerst, who also had an outstanding warrant for misdemeanor criminal conversion.
The three may face more charges, Hill said.Pearl Jewelry Wholeslae,Pearl Jewelry,Fresh Water Pearl,Cultured Pearl,Tahitian Pearl,Pearl Jewelry Wholesale,fashion jewelry,wholesale fashion jewelry,costume jewelry,costume jewellery,fashion jewellery,wholesale costume jewelry,jewelry fashion,wholesale fashion jewellery,bead jewelry,beaded jewelry,bead jewelry wholesale,beaded jewelry wholesale,wholesale beaded jewelry,bead necklace,beaded necklace,jewelry beads,beaded necklaces,jewelry bead,handmade jewelry,handcrafted jewelry,handmade beaded jewelry,jewelry handmade,handcrafted beaded jewelry,handmade gemstone jewelry,handcrafted gemstone jewelry,handmade bead jewelry,pearl jewelry wholesale,beaded jewelry wholesale,jewelry wholesale,Jewelry Wholesale,Jewelry Wholesale,Jewelry Wholesale,Jewelry Wholesale,Jewelry Wholesale,Jewelry suppliers,Fashion Jewelry Wholesale,Handmade Jewelry Wholesale,Turquoise Wholesale,Wholesale Shell,Crystal Wholesale,loose bead,jewelry Online Wholesale,jewelry loose bead,Wholesale Jewelry,China Jewelry suppliers,jewellery wholesale,Wholesale Silver Jewelry,sterling silver Jewelry,silver Jewelry,925 sterling silver,sterling silver,wholesale jewelry,jewelry,jewelry Making,Handcrafted jewelry,wholesale silver jewelry,Jewelry Wholesale,China Jewelry Wholesale,pearl jewelry,pearl jewelry wholesale,wholesale pearl jewelry,Tibet jewelry wholesale,Chinese people jewelry,Tibet jewelry,Yiwu jewelry,Wholesale Body Jewelry,Body Jewelry,Corea jewelry,Corea jewelry wholesale,bead in Bali island,Bali island accessory wholesale,unique jewelry wholesale,unique jewelry,fashion decoration,lover jewelry
