Job Objective: (one sentence)<br/>Lead development team towards developing agile, standardized and reusable enterprise software for book (publishing, wholesale, retail), education services and 3PL businesses.</p><p>2. Job Responsibilities:<br/> coach and supervise software development team <br/> day to day team administration<br/> provide support, feedback and expertise to team members<br/> cooperate with other IT managers (IT infrastructure, business support)<br/> manage competencies, measure performance of development team<br/> cooperate with business departments, determine business requirements<br/> manage vendors, negotiate service level agreements (SLA)<br/> improve process quality<br/> leverage latest technologies</p><p>3. Key Competences:<br/> strong communication skills<br/> strong supervision skills <br/> strong technical skills <br/> mature, reliable, hard working self learner; responds well under high pressure<br/> process oriented<br/> service oriented</p><p>4. Professional experience (type, number of years): <br/> 5+ years software development/engineering/architecture experience<br/> 2+ years project and team management experience<br/> 3+ years J2EE project experience<br/> 2+ years Website projects (PHP, Javascript, XHTML) work experience<br/> 2+ years in patterns, MVC, frameworks, SOA<br/> 1+ years Microsoft development projects (VB, VC, .Net) experience<br/> experienced in software quality management and software development life cycle<br/> IBM AS400 development experience is a plus</p><p>5. Education/Skills/Language(s) Required: <br/> bachelor degree or above in computer science<br/> fluent in English</p><p>7. Internal Relations: (Contacts with other departments / name of position)<br/> coordinate with business support team and infrastructure team<br/> all business departments</p><p>8.
