Responsibilities
- Define requirements required for Aicent's global content partners and brands to distribute their content into Greater
- China. Ensure content meets localization requirements of Greater China.
- Provide leadership to engineering, business development and external partners to implement the required solution.
- Drive full life cycle management of the Global A2P<-> China distribution solution: including engineering, deployment, trials, commercial launch and on-going maintenance.
- Identify and communicate key requirements of content that is most attractive to the Greater China market.
- Identify and negotiate relationships with content providers in China for content distribution outside of Greater China.
- Promote and support the sale of content to Aicent's Greater China distribution partners/operators.
- Serve as company's liaison to Greater China constantly updating the corporate team on various local opportunities and regional requirements.
- Identify requirements of externally sourced applications or content that can be distributed through Aicent's enterprise channels.
- Represent company at industry events - project thought leadership especially in/for Asia.
Requirements (please apply only if you meet these requirements) - Three or more years' of product management experience;
- Two or more years' experience marketing consumer-oriented mobile services, portals, and/or content;
- Understanding of relevant standards regulations and customs in China and how this affects mobile data service requirement;
- Solid technical background in communications services and technology;
- Fluent verbal and written English and Mandarin communication and presentation skills;
- Moderate travel, including international (20-40%), throughout Greater China, Asia, and the US.
- University degree in business or equivalent experience.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm to work as part of a high growth, venture-backed multi-cultural global company and willing to do whatever it takes to grow the business.
