特意的查了一下Huckleberry，意思是越桔类，一下子有点儿奇怪，因为有一次看到一本书全讲越桔，而这所谓的越桔就是我一直挂在嘴边的蓝莓
那什么叫Huckleberry friend呢？
我知道关于蓝莓有这样一个故事，说是有个国王超级喜欢吃蓝莓，老是吃的牙齿蓝蓝，而恰巧这个是个超级好的国王，实行仁政，关心百姓疾苦，倾听百姓心声，于是别人就冠之以蓝牙国王的名号，意味着理解与容易沟通，如今的蓝牙技术也是因此得名。
今儿个突然想到查一下blueberry，意思为蓝莓，越桔的一种，hoho~~~~

本来想email过去讨教的,后来忘了,今天和****jun聊天不是很爽我就又想起了这回事,呵呵,找了一阵,才知道这句歌词来自大名DINGDING的moon river,而不是那首经典autumn leaves,呵,sing365里瞎找八找时居然发现Johnny Mercer好像是个很棒的作词者,因为看到N多我都眼熟的大师级人物的歌是他写的,有看到billie holiday还有前阵子日落之前里有提到的nina simon,于是想到熊猫网里找找看这人的资料,看看这是个啥人物来着,一搜索果然n多,呵,最后一帖开始看,居然就有了我不是急着要找的答案了,幸福啊~~~~~
williams:Moon River 这首歌的歌词写得很简单，很容易理解，不过里面有个短语“my huckleberry friend”我想问问大家什么意思？出典？

Hi Japanese friend. huckleberry friend is a character from Tom Sawyers book Uncle Toms cabin a young boy living the good life on the banks of the Mississippi river never went to school just fished all day and enjoyed life as God intended just a dreamer Regards, kevin neville (Limerick Ireland)

Mr. Atsumi: I feel "Huckleberry friend" relates to Mark Twain's rascal, wandering juvenile hero "Huckleberry Finn." As used in film "Breakfast At Tiffany," it's song by the hillbilly heroine Holly Golightly who has become successful as a NYC party girl but yearns for the innocence she left behind in the south. When the song was filmed at a movie preview, a studio executive wanted to cut it out because it s-l-o-w-e-d down the movie. A publisher criticized the song because he couldn't figure what a "Huckleberry" meant. I don't have any ready parallel to Japanese culture, but suspect if you used "momotaro" as a qualifying word, you'd see in your mind's eye a small rugged boychild. Yes? Johnny Grew up in Savannah, Georgia. The information I am about to cite can be found in a handwritten note, from Walter Rivers, a friend of Johnny's to Bob Bach. Bob wrote him while doing research for the book OUR HUCKLEBERRY FRIEND,,
page 16.
The Book "Our Huckleberry Friend" ..the Life ,Times and Lyrics, of Johnny Mercer by Bob Bach and Ginger Mercer (John's Widow who passed away in 1994).
Johnny and his friends would enjoy spending time in the early summers picking wild huckleberries (Blueberries). They would place these in pails and bring them home to enjoy. They even turned up in ice-cream. This is where my huckleberry friend came from, just Johnny as a little boy, with his friends enjoying themselves in their private activities.
Even though this book was issued in 1982, it is still available through many bookstores (including online dealers-amazon etc., and though interlibrary loan).

现在我对****jun想说的一句话就是i fu u,呵呵,如此不爽的聊天后还可以牵扯出我现在这份快乐,真是晕啊,不过有一点是更加明晰了,呵呵,我终于确定蓝莓也成熟在初夏时节,呵呵,太棒了,我知道蓝草是在初夏时节开花的,好像还可以做香料的,而且记忆中还在初夏时候去大棚棚里採过草莓,所以印象里总感觉蓝莓也该在这时候成熟,记忆里去年的十一二月份有问过****jun知不知道蓝莓的,他说知道超市里有卖,后来和他聊天不是预期中的快乐,就友情建议他去买点蓝莓吃,呵,吃的牙齿蓝蓝偶们好说话,不过他说超市里看不到卖了,呵,想是过了时节了吧,刚看到Savannah这个词的时候居然这么眼熟,后来才记起用词霸查Huckleberry的时候有看到,呵呵,不管这种东东生长在美国的哪个地方,至少我知道****jun所在地方的超市里也买得到,呵呵,给my Huckleberry friend定个义吧,所谓什么什么,就是指带蓝莓来和你一起分享的人,hoho~~~~
