If you have a FAST and RELIABLE internet connection (e.g. ISDN or better) we recommend you download the Solo Evaluation Installer which contains all components of the installation in a single archive.

If you have a MODEM or a SLOW internet connection (e.g. <=56K ) consider downloading the separate components, one at the time, to reduce the likelyhood of having transmission problems.

Instructions for downloading:
Click on the the appropriate link to start the download. When prompted to save the file, navigate to your Desktop and click Save.
If you are downloading components, make sure to download ALL components into the same folder (or onto the desktop) before starting the installation.
Quit your browser application (Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.).
Retrieve the installation password from your e-mail mailbox. The password has been sent to the e-mail address you specified on the download form.
To start the installation, double click on the "SoloEval..." self-extracting archive, type in the password, when requested, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
If you receive a "Could not initialize installation - System DLLs corrupt or missing" message, when starting the installation, it means that you do not have "Administrator" privileges on your machine. Contact your IT staff and ask them to temporarily change your privileges to allow the installation to proceed.
Note: Axon verifies the integrity of the archives after uploading them to the web site. If the file is not completely downloaded, or if it is damaged in transmission, you may get an error message. If this happens, try again. Sometimes it takes more than one attempt to download a file successfully.

安装之前先备份安装文件，安装过程中会自动删除安装程序，如需以后再使用安装程序切记备份，否则安装结束后将只能再次下载安装文件。
同时不要忘记保存安装密码，否则又会打不开安装程序了。

试用版2006-11过期，问的人比较多，集中一个帖子发布一下了。

说实话SOLO很一般。也就是网上有个帖子说麦麦在用。个人觉得易用性等太一般了。

Mekko Graphics 4感觉确实还不错，看了一下示例PPT，数据图示功能不算太差，顺便上传一个从该软件网站下载的介绍示例文件让大家了解一下，不过，现在有相对比较专业化的统计报表软件会逐渐替代这种较为单一的图示软件，象水晶报表和水晶易表以及Spss、SAS的Jmp等软件中都内置了报表展示功能，可以直接读取数据表和数据库以及其他数据源，这些功能已经成为今后商务智能的其中一个部分。
