CEO 

Responsibilities:

l         Provide leadership and direction for business operations.

l         Maintain full P&L responsibility for the company, and achieve or surpass financial targets.

l         Develop a strategic plan to grow the business in collaboration with the senior management team.

l         Establish performance goals which are aggressive, real and tied to overall company strategy and goals.

l         Monitor departmental performance against performance goals to ensure that progress is being made and corrective action, if necessary, is taken.

l         Represent the company in establishing and continuously growing relationships with business partners, customers and vendors.

l         Attract, develop, motivate and retain staff, deploy them in an effective manner, and ensure effective succession planning is in place.

 

Requirements:

 

The successful applicant will have:

l         Minimum of 10 years experience, with at least 5 in an executive level leadership role, preferably encompassing start up, wholesale and/or online sales industry experience.

l         BS or BA in Business Management, MBA and/or other certification a significant plus.

l         Experience in online recruitment is a distinct advantage.

l         A strong track record in a senior management role in a high growth organization and industry

l         Client focused, with a proven track record of success in driving sales and profits, and in building and developing teams of highly performing sales professionals.

l         Track record of improving the profitability and value of a firm or business unit in a senior leadership position, with demonstration of expertise in industry concepts, practices and procedures.

l         Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to work on his/her own initiative.

l         Demonstrated experience building teams and growing companies.

l         Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong ability to work in high-pressure situations, and excellent business acumen.

l         Affinity with the Chinese market is important.

l         Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin.
