<p>VSM is the brief spelling of Value Stream Mapping which can be used for manufacturing process improvment like the Kaizen plan.</p><p>The major steps to implement the VSM are:</p>
<p>1. Identify the product</p>
<p>2. Create a current VSM status</p>
<p>3. Evaluate the current map, identify problem areas</p>
<p>4. Create a future state</p>
<p>5. Implement the final plan.</p>
<p>VSM is the systematic plan and effort and can be explained as the PDCA cycle.</p>
